Our daughter, Cadance Storm was 6 years old when she inspired “The Rose.”  I was playing my guitar and singing to her before bedtime when Cadi said Write about a rose.  What about it, I asked.  And she said, It is red but it wants to be blue.  And so a somewhat melancholy story emerged about a rose, conversing with a bluebird, expressing her desire to be blue like the bird.  The song comes to a wistful end, as the rose finds contentment in dreaming that she is blue.

My album is available worldwide from Amazon.com, CDBaby, and many MP3 vendors.
